Code 3 Training uses a diverse and experienced team of emergency safety professionals to deliver the highest quality customized training available for your emergency response team. We are firefighters, paramedics, and EMTs with time on the street doing the job we are teaching your employees.

You can rest assured that your team will receive competent instruction in advanced Fire Safety curriculum involving Industrial Fire Watch, in accordance with federal CFR and state OSHA mandates. 

We will customize the course for your employees to not only cover the requirements but go beyond the minimum and provide the training they will find engaging and informative. 

Federal CFR training requirements: 

1915.504(c)(2)(v)

Are trained to detect fires that occur in areas exposed to the hot work;

1915.504(c)(2)(vi)

Attempt to extinguish any incipient stage fires in the hot work area that are within the capability of available equipment and within the fire watch’s training qualifications, as defined in § 1915.508;

1915.504(c)(2)(vii)

Alert employees of any fire beyond the incipient stage; and

1915.504(c)(2)(viii)

If unable to extinguish fire in the areas exposed to the hot work, activate the alarm.

1915.504(c)(3)

The employer must ensure that employees assigned to fire watch are physically capable of performing these duties.
